Arranged over three floors, Oakeshott House Care Home offers private, spacious bedrooms each with an ensuite wet room. The bedrooms are arranged in small homely clusters each with its own lounge/ dining room, quiet room and assisted bathroom.

The home is also supplied with a wide variety of social areas including a private dining room where residents can choose to dine privately with family and friends, a drawing room, vintage tea room, cinema room, hair salon, games room, activity room, family kitchens, a café/bar area and more. Each providing areas for recreation and enjoyment for residents and their loved ones.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

My Name is Jane Hamilton and I’m a Registered Nurse for people with Learning Disabilities, with additional qualifications of Registered Managers Award, SVQ level 4 and Modern apprenticeship in Management.

I bring with me 32 years’ knowledge and experience of working within the NHS and Private Healthcare sector.

As Manager of this purpose built newly commissioned home, I have enjoyed watching the home develop and recruiting a professional, dedicated team, who are looking forward to supporting me in the delivery of truly exceptional care.

At Morar we believe ‘Life is for Living’ and as Registered Manager of Oakeshott House, I will ensure that residents who choose to live with us will be supported and empowered to live happy fulfilling lives.

I value each individual unique and intrinsic qualities and will ensure person centered care and support is tailored to each resident to enable them to fulfill their needs, wishes and aspirations.
